Adrienne A. Garber is a graduate student in the Instructional Technology and Media doctoral program in the Communication, Computing and Technology in Education department at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to moving to New York to begin her studies at Teachers College, Adrienne practiced law at an Am Law 100 firm in Pittsburgh, PA. Her practice areas included corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. She earned her B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, a J.D./M.B.A from Duquesne University, and most recently a M.S. in eBusiness Technologies from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. While attending Carnegie Mellon University, she worked on research projects for both the Language Technologies Institute and the Field Robotics Center. Her academic areas of interest include multimedia learning, gesture-based computing, human computer interaction, corporate training, and professional education (particularly in a legal setting).
